Anne “Lynne” Coleman (nee Swanson) passed away peacefully and on her own terms on
Friday, February 3, 2023, at McKenney Creek Hospice at the age of 85.
Lynne is survived by her loving partner Glenn McDonald, daughter and son-in-law Jayne and Brad Westwood, grand children Caitlin Coty Harper, Reilly and Ashley Westwood, great granddaughter Carsyn Harper and stepson Bruce (and Monica) Coleman.

Lynne was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 10, 1937, and was raised in Penticton, B.C.
She eventually moved to Vancouver and pursued a variety of career choices which included working for the RCMP, BCTV, The Provincial Prosecutors Office and eventually held the position of Manager of Human Resources at KPMG.

Throughout her career Lynne made many good friends whom she retained well into her retired years. She valued those friendships dearly and enjoyed sharing stories of the many good times and extensive travel she enjoyed well into her golden years.

In recent years Lynne moved from her long time home in North Vancouver out to Maple Ridge to be closer to her family and her soulmate Glenn whom she was able to share many years of travel and shared friendships. She also became an integral part of our family! Lynne was known for her dignity and eloquence. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed!

We would like to thank the many wonderful people who helped us from Fraser Health, Nurse Next Door and McKenney Creek Hospice who assisted us through a very difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Brad and Jayne Westwood on Saturday, March 4th at 1:00 pm

The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation to the B.C. Cancer Research Society would be appreciated.

I only became aware of Lynne's passing when my annual Christmas email to Lynne bounced.
I knew Lynne for many, many years. My role in payroll at KPMG of course meant that Lynne and I often worked together. Lynne was a joy to work with.
We stayed in touch in our retirement years.

Glenn - I am so sorry for your loss. I remember how both you and Lynne loved your individual homes too much to give them up. So for many years the two of you alternated your "home" addresses every week or two. I'm sure that you are missing Lynne dearly. My deepest condolences.

Lynne, such an elegant, kind, and caring work-friend you were. Loyal and trustworthy, fun-loving too! Rest in peace. Deb
