We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Agnes at the age of 92. Agnes was born and raised in Vancouver.
In 1961, Agnes and her husband designed and built the family home in Burnaby where they lived for 53 years. They hosted many family gatherings and it was a home full of love and laughter. In 2014, they moved to New Westminster and enjoyed the tremendous views and daily activities on the river. Agnes remained there after Barrie, her loving husband of almost 70 years, passed away. She is together again with Barrie (d.2022) and son Dan (d.2018).
Family was everything to Agnes and she will be forever missed by daughter Lisa (John), grandchildren Holly (Colm), Erin (James), Travis, and great grandchildren Sawyer, Ciara, Hazel and Claire.
Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, May 24th, 4:00 pm, at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

My memory of Agnes is of smiles, kindness and thoughtfulness. She was an energetic person, always welcoming and glad to see you. I will always remember our times in Garden Bay, when Barry, Agnes, Lisa and John would visit. We were always happy to see them and spend time together. I pray for peace and comfort for the family during this difficult time of loss.
