August 09, 1942 - July 06, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William on July 06, 2020,
at the age of 77. He was born to parents Evelyn Winifred and John Lucas, on August 09, 1942
in Vancouver, BC.
William was well known in the community of Maple Ridge, and much loved. William was the proprietor of, "Bill's Skate Shop", since the very beginning 1979. He had a stroke in 2001, and
the business was then sold to long time employee Aaron to carry on the legacy that William started.
William leaves behind many people who he loved very much, and they loved him back. Such
as Cobie, Lisa, Aaron, Tina, Julia and Mike. There are many more friends and acquaintances, but they know who they are.
William leaves behind 4 brothers John, George, Mike and Laurie and 2 sisters Lynne and Shannon.
William is survived by his 2 children Stewart and Sarah. William is also survived by his 3 grandchildren Jennifer, Sabrina and Brendan.
Thank you to DR Dugdale and his staff at Dewdney Medical along with all the DR’s and nurses at the Ridge Meadows Hospital for the care they gave William over the years.
William, you will be missed dearly, but now you can finally "Rest In Peace".
There will be no Celebration of Life due to Covid 19.

Dear Cobie, So sorry for the loss of Bill. I know he battled long and hard. My heart goes out to you and Bills family and friends.
