It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Steven Scott.

Steve was born in Saltburn, England on May 29, 1974 and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1982. Pre-deceased by his dad, David Scott, Steve is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Bryson, parents Joan and Peter Hackett, brother Tony Scott (Brett), as well as his extended family and friends in both England and Canada.

Steve’s genuine smile and sense of humour will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He lived life to the fullest and was happiest working around the house on various projects or helping friends with their own projects. He treated everyone as equal and made you feel like you were a friend the minute you met him.

In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life at this time by invitation only, with a larger event to be scheduled when restrictions allow.

I have known Sheri since she was in her mommies tummy and met Steve when they started dating. Through the years. mainly at the Bryson's annual Christmas party, we looked forward to his new appie recipe but mostly just loved to listen to him tell stories. He was like a stand up comedian. He loved Sheri and we were so happy for both of them. His loss is so shocking and sad for all who knew him. Our hearts grieve for Sheri and we send our deepest sympathy to her and the families. "Until we meet again Steve".

Steve was my baby brother, but you wouldn’t know it as he was always taking care of me when it came to house repairs and the sort. I couldn’t ask for a better brother. Our loss is Heaven’s gain but the hole left behind is immense. I love you brother and dream about the days we can reunite!

Steve was one of the most unique people that I ever met, he was always happy to talk and eager to help in anyway. He brought great energy to everything he did and I was very lucky to have known him.
He will be really missed and I extend my sincere condolences to his entire family.
