It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Angela Hudson. She passed comfortably on January 11 2021, at the age of 65, after suffering from a heart attack and stroke.

She is survived by her daughter, Allegra, her mother, Doris, and her siblings, Linda, Dean and Gary. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sharon was born in South Africa on July 26, 1955 and had wonderful stories of her early life there. She travelled all over the world and met many wonderful people, touching the lives of everyone she met.

In more recent years she suffered from chronic pain and other ailments that reduced her quality of life but she never let that affect her cheerful personality. She always thought of others first and tried to go out of her way to make sure others were always taken care of.

A graveside service and interment will be held in the near future at the Maple Ridge Cemetery.

God looked around his garden

And found an empty space,

He then looked down upon this earth

And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest,

God’s garden must be beautiful,

He only takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough

And the hills were hard to climb,

So he closed your weary eyelids

And whispered “Peace be thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you never went alone,

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.
