Robert Edward McKechnie

April 8, 1949 - February 23, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert McKechnie (Bob) on February 23rd at the age of 70. He was predeceased by his father, Robert McKechnie (Ab), mother, Elizabeth McKechnie (Betty) and sister Janette Atwell.

He leaves behind his loving family, wife Heather McKechnie, brother Ralph McKechnie, daughter Stacey Grasty (Kris Grasty), son Chris McKechnie (Lana Wells) and grandchildren Paige Farina, Anderson Grasty and Jacob Wells McKechnie.

Bob will be greatly missed and remembered for his kind heart, generosity and loyalty to all those dear to him. He was a proud man who worked hard his entire life, never wanting to quit. Bob was an avid fisherman, his happy place was always at the lake with his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel in Maple Ridge on Saturday, March 7th at 11am followed by a Reception at 11434-233A Street, Maple Ridge.
