Olga Dumont (Nee Moskaluk)

Born March 28th, 1926 in Lethbridge Alberta – passed away peacefully January 12th, 2020 in Maple Ridge British Columbia.

Predeceased by her husband George, son Robert (Bob) and grandson Derek. Survived by Judy (Cliff), Linda (daughter in law), Nancy (Barry), Allan, Gordon (Colleen) and Marian (Fred). Grandchildren Shawn (Sarah), Coralee (Kelly), Tracey (Ken), Glenn (Natalie), Neil (Jenn), Brent (Kelsey), Gina and Tyler. As well as numerous great grandchildren.

Olga moved to Vancouver in the 1940s. She worked at Boeing Aviation during WWII as well as at various sewing companies. She met George in Vancouver, married July 1948 and lived there for several years before moving to Coquitlam and eventually settling in Maple Ridge. Olga was an avid gardener growing vegetables and flowers. She was well known for her dahlias collection. George and Olga had many happy years as members of the Maple Ridge Square Dance group. Bowling was another hobby and she participated weekly at the Wednesday afternoon bowling league in Maple Ridge. Sewing and crafts were another pastime.

Funeral Mass to be held at 11am on January 22nd, 2020 at St Patrick’s church, 22561 121st Ave, Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Aunt Rose Alma and Margaret let us know of Aunt Olga's passing.Our sympathies to your family from Laurent' family.Gerard and Olga were so good to travel to Saskatchewan many summers,and always made time for a visit.They came to mom and dads 40th and danced the night away.They were such elegant dancers.Our thoughts are with you. Laurent Dumont and family.
