Clifford Patrick Johnston

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend, Clifford Patrick Johnston on Wednesday, February 24,2021. Clifford will now be reunited with 4 of his siblings. Clifford is survived by the love of his life Betty (Elizabeth) Johnston, married 62 years, his Son Mitchell Johnston, Daughter Lori Tobin, Granddaughter Courtney Johnston , Grandson Zachary Johnston, Great Grand Son Ryder and many nieces and nephews. Clifford was born in Montreal Quebec, where he grew up and met Betty, then in 1964 they moved to Vancouver, BC. Clifford worked in the printing trade for 40 years and retired to the sun in the south every winter. Clifford's most memorable trip was to the North Pole, which we really never knew why other than it's there!

Clifford will be dearly missed by all.

Our sincere condolences to you and your family Betty, as you deal with your loss. Clifford was a great guy, always up for a good time. We recall with fondness our ski trip to Big White and the fun we had with the large group that participated, and our visit to Desert Hot Springs where we golfed with Clifford. You must have many memories of the good times down South. May those memories help as you grieve you loss. Sincerely, Harvey and Marilyn

Worked with Cliff for many years at Lawson Packaging. Sometimes, had issues on how to fix a problem, but he usually got his own way! Kept in occasional touch after retirement. Great guy, so sorry for your loss.

We hold the memories and wonderful family times spent with our beloved Uncle Clifford dear to our hearts. His sense of humor and wit was one of a kind and he always had a way to make you laugh. His love of music and trips to Lou's records here in sunny San Diego always brought him much joy (and lots of music finds!). The road trips that he and Aunt Betty and our Mum Nancy took were some of the fondest memories that Mum shared with us of their time on the road together. Ski trips way back when to Big White (cheer to the Bandana Gang) were filled with fun, games and crazy stories that I will cherish forever. Needless to say Uncle Clifford holds such a special place in our hearts and he will be dearly missed.
