Obituary

 Brian Arthur Robinson November 24, 1939- May 28, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that Brian’s family announces his passing on May 28, 2020. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Larry. He is survived by his wife, Pat, and children Kim (Ron), Kelly(Sylvia) and Joel (Diane) and grandchildren Nichelle (Brayden), Cole B.(Sarah),  Isabella, Joanna, Tia, Owen, Cole L., Evan, Jordie, Mackenzie, Taryn and his brother Dennis (Agnes)  as well as great grandchildren, Elijah and Elodie.
Brian was born in Vancouver to Pat and Ethel Robinson. He attended John Oliver High School and, after graduating from UBC in 1963 with an undergraduate degree in Forestry he worked in the lumber industry in Chemainus.  After moving to Port Coquitlam in 1969 he joined the Canadian Pacific Railway where he stayed until retirement.
Brian was treasured for his sense of humour and known for his jokes (good and bad). He was a very social person, striking up conversations wherever he went.

Brian’s primary focus in  life was his family, supporting his 3 children in school events and community sports - hockey, ringette, figure skating, baseball, rugby.  Family camping holidays and trips to Disneyland were memorable holidays and he  looked forward to attending Merritt Mountain Music Festivals as well as golfing and playing poker with his buddies.  In later years camping on Vancouver Island with relatives and good friends, Barb and Ward , hold fond memories.

Attendance at the Service for Brian will be by invitation only, due to the restrictions in relation to Covid 19.
