Jeanette Anne (Rolheiser) Snyder

March 18, 1953 ~ May 3, 2018 (age 65)

Jeanette Anne Snyder [Rolheiser] was born

                     March 18th 1953 in Vancouver

Growing up in South Burnaby she attend Royal Oak Jr. Sec. and

Burnaby South Sr. Sec. and enjoyed MOST of her studies.  Out of

school activities included playing in the first girls soccer league

“Franks Furters 1968”.  She was also involved in a youth program

at West Burnaby United Church which became a life long interest of

learning.   She lived with a varying group of ladies after leaving

home and then moved to her own apartment .  Jeanette first meet

Bill in grade three but didn’t have their first date till grade nine.

Jeanette reconnected after graduation with Bill while working at

several office /clerical jobs.

They were married April 23rd 1977 the first big event of their

married life was buying land as an investment and maybe a future

building site for a home.  Almost right after that was the surprise

that she was expecting so more shopping for a “house to live in”

was done.  Kevin was born in 1979 and Jeanette soon realized that

learning to drive “the Challenger” would make her life easier.

Scott’s birth in 1984 made it clear more room was needed so an

addition and renovation was undertaken and completed.  She very

much enjoyed all the activity that two sons would provide.  The

Snyder house was often a gathering place for all the friends over

the years.  Many of them were more like family to Jeanette and

several even visited her while in hospice.  Vacations of skiing and

camping were the main holidays while the boys were in school with

a few road trips to the “Wonderful World of Disney”.

After retiring, Jeanette and Bill enjoyed traveling with their friends to

varying sunny locations [CLUB 21 & OCEANS 11].  After a

diagnoses of Cancer the desire to travel [with several Wigs and

many Scarves in hand] continued, this part of of her life was very

important to Nettie.  Jeanette had several get aways with her dear

girl friends “the SIX PACK “ this group also organized several

school reunions.

Scott and Allison’s wedding was the next important thing to have

happen for Jeanette between treatments at the Cancer Clinic, and

then the birth of Cooper made everything seem complete.

Jeanette’s smile and real interest in every thing that was going on in

YOUR world showed her real Sprit for Life and Strength to face

what was going on in HER world.

We will always LOVE her.
