TOWN, Frederic William

Passed away peacefully on May 1, 2017 in his 91st year. Fred and his brother Bert were long- time well –respected mink ranchers who started in Burnaby and later moved to Webster’s Corners. After selling his farm, Fred moved to Abbotsford to be with his love, “Bunny” where he remained until her death. He then moved back to Maple Ridge. Fred is survived by his brother Bert and many nieces and nephews as well as his good friends, Ann Rennie and John Wood. Special thanks to Gail Hestermann for all the love and care that she gave him in his declining years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 11th 2017 at 2:00pm in the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (Osborn’s), 11969 – 216th Street Maple Ridge.
